The Coach House has been stylishly restored as a peaceful, characterful hideaway, offering a wonderful place for a break. The cottage is inviting, fresh and cosy, with a coastal theme.

The Coach House is perfect for both families and groups of friends, sleeping up to 6 people across three bedrooms. With two bathrooms - one en suite for the king size bedroom and a family bathroom – there’s plenty of space for everyone. The Coach House is furnished to a high standard and fully equipped, offering a wide selection of essentials for children and babies including toys, cots and high chairs.
Outside, there are 8 acres of historic gardens and woodlands to explore. With stunning, wide-reaching rural views across the rolling hills and big skies, Lower Coombe Royal combines countryside living with modern facilities.
We welcome dogs too! Our previous canine guests have been particularly impressed with the great walks in the gardens, woods and surrounding countryside.

Although Lower Coombe Royal is placed firmly in the heart of the countryside, we are within easy reach of many beaches, the South West Coastal path and Dartmoor. Our enviable location means there are plenty of great activities and days out close by. Lower Coombe Royal is easily accessible – just 20 minutes from the A38, 10 minutes to the award-winning Bantham surfing beach and 10 minutes walk to the beautiful market town of Kingsbridge.
