The countryside around us is full of rolling hills, spectacular coastline, picturesque towns and villages and fantastic beaches – no wonder this is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty! Situated in the South Hams, tucked between the rivers Tamar and Dart, the mild climate means that this is a great year-round destination for visitors to explore. There are also plenty of places to visit and things to do, if the great outdoors doesn’t appeal.

Kingsbridge is located at the head of the Kingsbridge estuary, a haven for sailors and wading birds alike. There is a thriving local community, lots of individual shops selling local produce and products, cafes, restaurants and pubs, a museum and several art galleries, catering for locals and visitors alike. The farmers’ market comes to town on the first and third Saturday mornings of each month with a cornucopia of local produce on sale in the town square.
