The Coach House is a holiday cottage designed for a family and hidden away from the other retreats up the valley, next to the historic American Gardens and the apple orchard.  It offers even greater privacy and still with the lure of the town only ten minutes walk away. The Coach House has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and accommodates up to six people.

There is a large main bedroom, with a king size bed 210cm long and 170cm wide. This is complimented by an en-suite with a massive walk in shower with a teak seat.  For the rest of the family, there are two other bedrooms for two people each – one with bunk beds and the other with a carved oak bed frame and Hypnos mattress which measures 200cm long and 137cm wide.  A family bathroom with a bath and shower completes the downstairs. A better perspective can be gained by viewing the floor plans.

Upstairs is a bright and airy open plan kitchen, diner and sitting room, leading onto the private terrace surrounded by camellias and ancient apple trees. The energy is fully sustainable using renewable energy sources; electricity supplied by a green supplier, solar panels to heat the water and a bio-mass boiler burning wood pellets for room heating and supplementary water heating.

'I think the Coach House is the highest quality place we've had - your attention to detail relating to the kids was best - age relevant toys of a high quality, bath toys etc were great.  Liked the organic kid's toiletries.
